Sarah Hewitt is a senior at Whitko She is the daughter of Julie and Dana Hewitt. Sarah lives with her parents, brother Zachary, dog JJ and fish named Bailey in Pierceton. Volleyball, basketball and softball keep her busy. Sarah stated her favorite part about school is interacting with the other students and her teachers throughout the day. Besides playing sports, her hobbies include working with kids and animals, hanging out with friends and dancing for fun.
When asked what her favorite family vacation was Sarah said, "It would have to be when we went to Santa Rosa Beach and my best friend, Audrey, came along also. It was so relaxing and beautiful. Every day was like a dream!! Many people do not know that I love to travel and I cannot wait to travel more. I would love to travel to Australia and have the opportunity to hold a koala."
After being a mentor for 2 years now at the elementary school, Sarah has this to say about her volunteer position, "My favorite part about mentoring is learning more about my student's life, also just laughing and having a great time together."
Finally, Sarah says this about her future, "When I grow up I am hoping to be a pediatric occupational therapist."
