Volunteer Spotlight: Malarie Puterbaugh

Malarie Puterbaugh is a senior at Whitko High School and has been a volunteer with One Community for two (2) years. Malarie lives in South Whitley and enjoys working out, band, watching Netflix and playing fetch with her dog Ruby. She is involved in Marching, Jazz, Pep and Concert bands at WHS. This summer she will tour the eastern part of the United States with the Legends Drum and Bugle Corp as a Baritone player before heading to Purdue University to study Psychological Sciences and Public Health as well as being a part of the university's All-American Marching Band.

Malarie says that it has been an amazing experience being part of One Community and to watch the students grow and mature through the school year. She enjoys making them smile and knowing that she is someone special in their life.
